I am so happy that I have one less UFO- or PHD (Projects Half Done- sounds impressive-LOL).
I did this stitchery for my Grandson's wife who is a High School teacher in the U.S.
It was started in early 2011 with the idea of it being a birthday gift last April!!
My original plan was to put it on the side of a tote, then thought a cushion might be good, but finally decided on a wall hanging.
I needed to get it done before my grand-daughter goes over for a holiday later this month as she offered to deliver the Christmas presents for us, which saved a LOT in postage. :)
I am in the process of listing everything that needs finishing and will post it on here asap, and also on Sew It's Finished blog.
here is the wall hanging..........
I had to take one snap sideways, but still didn't get it all in.

Happy New Year with hopefully lots of projects finished.
Happy New Year everyone. I hope it is a great one for everybody.
I managed to get a few things done in time for Christmas gifts but could not post pictures on here for obvious reasons.
Today I am intending to finish a wallhanging for my Grandson's wife. They live in the U.S just north of San Diego CA. Kelly is a high school teacher of English and I did this stitchery for her some time ago, but I need to finish it so it can be delivered in person by my grand-daughter when she flies over this month for a visit.
The picture I am hopefully posting is a wallhanging I made for my penpal who lives in Texas. We have been quilting friends for about 20 years.
The second picture is the Country Christmas cushion I made as the 25th gift for Narelle in the Advent swap we had on our craft forum.
Last but not least, I thought I should post a picture of my fur baby Honey aka honeybunny, she is my shadow all day long, and the sweetest natured little dog. :)
I will post a picture of my other wallhanging when it is finished.
